Piano Tuning

You should have your piano tuned at least twice a year. A fine piano is a work of art. The better the piano, the more frequent it should be tuned.

Many people think that if they are not using their piano, they can avoid tuning it. This is not true, if a piano stands untuned for a long period of time, your risk changing the entire structure of the piano, including the soundboard and bridges.

If the pitch drops significantly, extensive work may need to be done to correct the problem. Regular tuning of your instrument can prevent unnecessary maintenance.

All new pianos should be tuned 4 times within the first year. After this, the piano should hold its tune properly if it is tuned twice a year on a regular basis.
